§ Any material that glorifies the use of alcohol, tobacco or drugs (we do not count catnip as a drug, eventhough many cats are addicted)
§ References, photos, or video referring to or containing sexual acts, sexual preferences, or sexual chat
§ Curse words or foul language
§ Nudity, partial or full—human nudity that is 
§ Personal attacks and unfriendly messages
§ When you use Petizens.com you will have the opportunity to vote on the content provided by other users. This includes voting on other user’s pet pages and informational content. The voting feature is meant to be fun and encourage high-quality content.
§ In providing the voting feature we realize that all pets are all ‘perfect 100s’ in each other’s eyes. The voting is meant to make the site more enjoyable and encourage great content, not to separate ‘winners’ from ‘losers’. In this spirit, all votes on pet pictures, pet videos and pet webpages, even a low score, adds points to the pet. That means that any vote, even a vote with a low score, is better than no vote at all.
§ Please remember that the webpage is first and foremost about your pet. As such, the main profile photo should include a photo of your pet. If you want to post photos of yourself or your family and friends posing together with your pet, we recommend that you post these photos in the body of your webpage and not as the main photo.
§ Remember only to post material that belongs to you or your family. Please do not post any content that is not your own.
§ Remember that your profile page is accessible to anybody with an internet connection. Do not post anything that you do not want to share with other people. We also remind you never to post e-mail addresses, instant messenger IDs, addresses, phone numbers, passwords or bank account information. Remind your family members who use Petizens.com to be aware of this as well.
§ While we encourage you to share your thoughts and opinions in your blog and in guestbooks, we remind you that we are a family-friendly site. Please abide by the guidelines above (‘Things to Avoid’)
§ Remember that your blog and guestbook is accessible to anybody with an internet connection. Do not post anything that you do not want to share with other people. We also remind you never to post e-mail addresses, instant messenger IDs, addresses, phone numbers, passwords or bank account information. Remind your family members who use Petizens.com to be aware of this as well.
§ Our public forums give members the opportunity to interact with each other and discuss around various pet topics. We ask that all members keep the fun, friendly, and informative in an encouraging way at all times. Please refrain from personal attacks and negative statements. Entries that are not considered friendly will be removed.
§ Forums are not great for discussing emotional issues or for reaching conclusions to political, religious or other similar issues. Instead, we encourage you to use the forums to exchange information, sharing positive news, and encouraging and supporting other members.
§ Please note that there is a one day waiting period for new members to post in the forum areas. This policy was created for the safety of our members.
§ Remember that your forum posts are accessible to anybody with an internet connection. Do not post anything that you do not want to share with other people. § Petizens employees are constantly moderating the site. As a member of Petizens.com you agree to always respect the statements of Petizens’ moderators. If you disagree with a moderator action please do not share your grievance on the public areas of the site, but contact Petizens directly by emailing us at help@petizens.com. We care about what you think and promise to carefully consider all grievances.
§ We strive to respond to any community issue within 24 hours, but note that it can sometimes take up to 72 hours for us to respond.
§ If you feel that any user provided content anywhere on the site is against our guidelines, please use the provided "Notify" link at the bottom of the message or email help@petizens.com. Please remember to give an explanation so our moderators can clearly understand why you are objecting to the content you are notifying us about.
